An easy way to handle staff holidays

A simple way to handle staff absence - and it's free, too!

When you have one or two employees, scheduling staff holidays isn't too tricky. They tell you when they'd like to go, you tell them if it fits into work, and everyone's (hopefully) happy. But once you expand and gain more employees, things can be a little more tricky. Holding it all in your diary or your head doesn't really work.

Enter WhosOff.com, a web-based system designed to help you coordinate vacation and out-of-the-office times for people in your company. It lets you deal with holiday requests quickly and fairly, giving a top-line view of who's off when. Staff can see what holiday they have left, and you can get full reports of leave taken, remaining, and absences due to illness.

There's a fully-featured free version, as well as a Premium offering which is ad-free and offers a variety of additional options.

And WhosOff.com isn't based in San Francisco, as you might expect. In fact, the company behind it, X:Drive Computing, has its base in Canterbury - making it a bit of a British success story, too.

Please forgive the shameless plug, but another option, if Who's off doesn't meet your business needs is VacationTracker.net. We've been managing absence tracking via the web since 2005 - a good few years longer than Who's off!
