It might not be able to deliver your products for you, but BT eSignature could help keep business running during the postal strike
Postal strikes are inconvenient for consumers. For me personally, the biggest impact so far has been that I've been getting my weekly copy of The Economist fortnightly - not ideal for a newspaper which prides itself on timely information.
But for businesses, and especially smaller ones, postal strikes can be hugely significant. In, the consequences could be so bad that some are already calling for the government to intervene in the dispute before Christmas.
For companies which need to deliver goods, there are few options. If you need to send packages over 500g in weight, you could switch your delivers to alternate suppliers. But if you send smaller goods out, other suppliers could prove to be more costly - the last thing you want at what is, for many, the busiest time of the year.
One thing which you can do, though, is to use electronic methods of getting contracts signed and delivered like BT eSignature. BT eSignature automatically takes care of making sure a document gets signed, tracked, filed and e-mailed right back to you and your customer as a PDF so everyone has a signed copy of the executed agreements. And there’s no software to install – your customers don’t even need an account in order to sign documents.
It won't help you deliver your parcels - but at least you can get vital contracts sorted out without putting them through the perils of the post.
