Successful business tycoon Peter Jones and renowned photographer Rankin are joining forces with BT Business to celebrate and reward inspiring UK businesses for the Essence of the Entrepreneur 2008 competition. Now in its third year, the competition is searching for the top 20 entrepreneurs in the UK that are successful with the help of technology. The judges will be looking for the best male, the best female and the best young entrepreneur of the year as well as the most original business concept.
In addition the panel of judges, headed up by Peter Jones, will also select a business to be awarded the title of Outstanding Entrepreneur and a £20,000 business grant from BT. All 20 winners will be photographed by famous portrait and fashion photographer Rankin for a London exhibition to announce the winners in January 2009.
