This report shows that there are expanding areas of business regeneration across the UK. Not only is it clear that businesses of certain types do particularly well in some areas, it is also evident that some flourishing parts of the UK attract a diverse array of small businesses that all do well. Most notably, 84% of small businesses in Northern Ireland, 74% in the North East and 74% in London said their region is an area of business regeneration. In addition 78% of businesses questioned agreed that the advancements of technology had boosted regeneration in their area.
