“I think the big win for us in terms of this whole installation has been the improvement in our network infrastructure and the solidity of that solution. We have no network issues at any time really in the two years we‘ve been in the building. We are able to relocate staff very, very quickly. We’ve done some major team relocations, all of which have passed without a hitch. We’re able to offer wireless access to clients when they come to the building which has been a big help to us. And the fact that we are able to expand our telephony solution to people who are sitting at a laptop in Qatar and it’s as if they’re in the office, which is fantastic. Reception can pass a call on to them and it goes straight through as if they’re sitting next door. That flexibility is very important to us. If someone was to ask me would I recommend using BT on a project like this I’d have to say ‘yes.’ I think people may be put off because they see BT as being a big corporate dealing with multi-national organisations, but I can honestly say as a small to medium business they understood what we were trying to do and gave us the service we needed, and continue to do so. Overall the installation was a great success. We achieved our deadline, staff came in first thing Monday morning, received training on handsets from BT staff that were roaming around the floor, we were operational working on projects as per normal, so a great success. The board are very pleased.”
